Yellow Fever vaccination

A certified Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. We issue the official certificate at the appointment.

Yellow fever is a viral disease spread by infected mosquitoes in parts of Africa and South America. There is no specific treatment, so prevention through vaccination matters for any traveller heading to an at risk region.

We are a certified Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, which means we are authorised to administer the vaccine and issue the official international certificate of vaccination or prophylaxis. Plan to come in at least 10 days before you travel.

When you need this vaccine

  • Travel to areas of sub Saharan Africa or tropical South America where yellow fever is endemic
  • Entry requirements for certain countries (proof of vaccination needed)
  • Long term travel or work in high risk regions

Schedule

  1. Single dose given by intramuscular injection.
  2. Protection begins about 10 days after vaccination.
  3. WHO considers a single dose to provide lifelong protection in most travellers.
